NMDA was established in 2017 by Nunzio DeSantis. Nunzio’s career started at HKS 35 years ago, where he created the HKS Hospitality Group. Nunzio has 35 years of worldwide experience to balance a destination's culture and ambiance with ever-changing guests never forget. After leaving HKS, Nunzio started NMDA to start a firm solely dedicated to hospitality without distraction by architects moving from one discipline to another. The firm is equally committed to enhancing the client experience by using its hospitality expertise to build long lasting relationships with recognizable brand developers and owners. In the short time since its establishment, NMDA's projects and designers have already been featured in notable publications, bringing the quickly growing firm into the public eye.

I had the incredible opportunity to complete my first internship at Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architects in Dallas, Texas. The experience more than exceeded my expectations. I had the chance to work on a variety of hospitality projects with highly supportive teams that taught me valuable skills through each step of the design process. The experience and knowledge that I gained from the professionals at NMDA will stay with me for my entire career.? I cannot thank the NMDA team enough. I was treated as an integral part of their team, and their culture of inclusivity and camaraderie made my experience much more enriched.? I want to give a huge shout-out to Nunzio DeSantis, FAIA, Marc DeSantis, Camila Montoya, and Scott Eisenhart AIA for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their team and being amazing mentors to me. I will miss the NMDA family as I continue my education this summer at the University of Cincinnati.?
