Nunnelly was pleased to collaborate with E-Z Bel Construction, LLC and RDO Equipment Co. to provide over 140 students with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment. As a mentor in the ACE Mentor Program of America Nunnelly supports the organization's mission. Founded in 1994, the ACE Mentor Program of America is a free, award-winning, afterschool program designed to attract high school students into pursuing careers in Architecture, Construction, and Engineering, including skilled trades. The organization values its partnerships with local school districts and its work with future leaders in the Construction Industry. Participating schools include East Central ISD, Lanier High School,John Jay Senior High School, and Northside ISD.

This is how you do a ribbon cutting! Nunnelly was honored to be the general contractor on the new COSA Barbara “Robbie” Robinette Community and Senior Center. This new 17,000 sq.ft. multi-generational center is adjacent to the Heritage Neighborhood Pool and includes programming for seniors and youth of all ages. The single-story facility includes a dining room, warming kitchen, classrooms, gym with exercise areas, lounge/game areas, health screening room with staff offices, covered outdoor seating area as well as a reception and waiting area. PROJECT AWARD: Nunnelly General Contractor was selected to build the Northside ISD Athletics, Lighting, & Energy Controls Upgrades at Sul Ross Middle School. Nunnelly will build the new athletic facility, and complete the demolition of the existing buildings, bus and fire lane improvements, lighting upgrades, energy control upgrades, security vestibule/fencing/fenestration upgrades, and renovation of existing areas for new fine arts classrooms.
