NEPI from Numurus enables students with minimal software experience to create and deploy AI-enabled automation solutions. NEPI software provides a full-featured AI and automation development platform for NVIDIA Jetson processors that eliminates the need for extensive software experience when developing sophisticated automation solutions. We have seen exciting results collaborating with the School of Engineering & Technology - UW Tacoma a on their Autonomous Ferry Research Project. Numurus is proud to support and facilitate the AI and automation aspects of this project while developing a related curriculum for wider use across STEM projects and classes. This month, students working on the project trained and deployed an AI "buoy" detection model needed for automating ferry navigation operations. Numurus' NEPI enabled NVIDIA Jetson development kit along with an extensive library of documentation, guides, tutorials, and videos available at www.nepi.com provided students with the resources to achieve this milestone and allow them to start working on the robotic automation portion of the project.
