We are very proud to partner with our customer Infineon Technologies and Clemens R?ssler and Stephan Sch?cher's team on their #quantum computing development efforts! The Infineon team understands the complexities of developing cutting-edge quantum technologies and the need to design larger and more complex ion traps. #NullspaceES is purpose-built for simulation of extremely large ion traps to help our customers to bring their quantum technologies to market much faster! To learn more about our simulation tools: https://lnkd.in/gnB595TX Thank you Clemens R?ssler and Stephan Sch?cher! We are honored to be working with your team!
Here is another piece in the puzzle of the Qubit scaling challenge: Nullspace. As we scale up ion traps to accommodate larger numbers of logical qubits, we need to adopt more complex trap geometries, such as those featuring load slots, and improve our control over the ions. However, these advancements render the gapless plane approximation, commonly used in trap simulations, increasingly problematic. Nullspace offers a time-efficient solution to tackle this challenge with high accuracy. We started working with it recently in our group and so far it looks promising?to increase the effectiveness of our traps. Look out for more in a few quarters. #quantumcomputing #trappedions #ionQPU Nullspace, Inc. Masha Petrova, Ph.D. Daniel Faircloth, Ph.D.
