Serving on our Board, she has helped shape a community filled with opportunity. A spiritual leader, advocate, and community organizer, her work has uplifted thousands and strengthened the voices of those often unheard. As Divisional Director of Partnerships for The Salvation Army Eastern Pennsylvania & Delaware Division, Chair of the PA Governor’s Commission on Latino Affairs, and co-founder and board member of the Hispanic Clergy of Philadelphia, Rev.?Bonnie?continues to lead with faith and purpose. This Women’s History Month, we are honored to officially announce Carolina DiGiorgio as the newest member of Esperanza’s Board of Directors! A dedicated attorney and civic leader, Carolina has spent her career advancing community development and advocacy—leading Congreso de Latinos Unidos for over six years, where she grew the organization’s budget by nearly 50%, and later serving as Chief Legal Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection under Governor Josh Shapiro. Now serving as VP of Government & External Relations at PECO, an Exelon Company, Carolina continues her work in public service and civic engagement.
