关于我们

This is Nudie Jeans Co. We're not just in the business of selling jeans. We're in the business of making them a part of your life, for the long haul. Our wear-and-tear philosophy is all about making sure your jeans live as long as you do, maybe even longer! It's like having a second skin that just gets better with age. We started this journey in the small city of Gothenburg back in 2001. Our Swedish roots remind us every day to be good to the Earth and to each other. It's not just about organic cotton and transparent processes; it's about building a community that cares. So here's the deal: every pair of jeans we make is designed to be your 'forever jeans.' They're the kind you'll want to repair, not replace. The kind you'll hand down to your kids, who'll hand them down to theirs. We're not just making clothes; we're creating future classics. Clothes that become vintage, instead of garbage.

It's official, we’ll be opening a new Nudie Jeans Repair Shop in Manchester! ?? People of Manchester, give us your insights on what not to miss in your city. And do not hesitate to apply to our new job listings. We need the best of the best. ? The store will be located in the city's Northern Quarter, opening its doors at the end of April. ? For us, the physical store is incredibly important for several reasons. It’s in our stores that we truly connect with our customers—in person and authentically. These personal interactions drive us forward, make us better, and help us build a community?that cares. ? Our Repair Shops are not just about selling new products—they are hubs for circularity. Customers return to us with their Nudie Jeans for free repairs?for life. We also sell our own Re-Use jeans, which are pre-loved jeans brought in by customers. In return, they receive 20% off a new pair. ? While we are continuously growing online (2024 was our best year ever), we remain committed to ambitious climate goals. Shipping is one of our biggest challenges, which is why we?have implemented?an omni-channel solution. Our stores act as local distribution hubs, reducing the need for air freight for online orders. Instead, online orders are shipped from the nearest Nudie Jeans store and transported locally by truck. The UK is one of our largest and most important markets, and we see a significant need to expand both our repair services and omni-channel solutions here. ? Most importantly, we sell jeans. Let’s be honest—finding the right fit is a crucial part of making a pair of jeans your “forever jeans.” That’s our ultimate goal. Denim is versatile and timeless, but finding the perfect fit can be a challenge. Shopping online adds complexity—what looks great on a model might not work for unique body shapes, leading to the cycle of returns. Physical stores allow us to address this by helping customers find their perfect fit on the first try. ? In the end, we want our stores to create a community that cares, encouraging a new mindset about consumption and clothing care, reducing returns, and boosting second-hand sales. ? Lastly, it’s no secret that Manchester as a city has always been a huge source of inspiration for us. There are many parallels between this industrial city and our hometown, Gothenburg. Manchester is also home to some of the world’s greatest bands (in our opinion): The Stone Roses, Oasis, The Smiths, Joy Division, and New Order, to name just a few. Fun fact. In Swedish we call corduroy "manchester". https://lnkd.in/d5r78uKu #nudiejeans #hiring #manchester #northernquarter #denim #retail #freerepairs

Scalable circularity and service innovation: for profitable circular models in the textile industry, or SCINTEX, to avoid falling over when reading - has become the name of an innovations project involving our full range of circular solutions as an independent denim brand. You can pretty much call it the research version of Create Tomorrow's Vintage. With funding from The Swedish Energy Agency International and as a part of the strategic research and innovations program, RE:Source-SIP, we will together with our project partners RecoMended, University of Gothenburg and Lund University, set up and study practical pilots of nuanced repair systems and expanded infrastructure solutions for circular textiles. There is already a lot of experience on circular textile value chains within the project group, but we believe that together in this collaborative initiative, we will manage to build proof of concepts for how to amplify and scale up a diversified and holistic circular business model, where consumer service offers are easy access, while profitability is maintained. The project will: - Contribute to a significant upscaling of Nudie Jeans' circular services and industrial infrastructure, which together with RecoMended can benefit other actors. - (If successful) give textile companies reason to review their approach to circular business models in everything from design, production, lifetime, repair, sales of Re-use products and reuse of materials, to the recycling of fibers. - Show how internalising repair costs (similar to leasing) can increase incentives for companies to get it right from the start. - From a research perspective, it enables an insight into companies' work with integration of circularity in their business models in real time and connect the consumer perspective (Lund University) with the business perspective (Gothenburg University). - Have good opportunities to demonstrate how a transformative upscaling towards circular business according to Agenda 2030 is feasible, while profitable. This project is a part of the call - Circular Economy and Resource Use Within Planetary Boundaries. More about the call and the project is found on RE:source's website. Last Friday, we released our first installment of the very limited Re-use Gold capsule. In less than an hour, all 10 pieces were sold out. To us, this is a testament to our mission to create tomorrow's vintage. Our community and their mindset play a crucial role in our Re-use efforts. We’d love your insights on how we can collectively elevate the perception of second-hand clothing. In our opinon, society today isn't reusing enough. There’s a lack of systematized, functional industrial services to optimize the reuse of material resources already on the market, such as collection points, sorting entities, and reconditioning services. Second-hand products are often managed by non-profit thrift or charity organizations. If products aren't fit for their domestic second-hand market, they are typically bulk shipped to markets further down the hierarchy until the remnants are sent to African or Asian continents, where large parts risk ending up in landfills. We encourage more brands to take back their own products to recondition and resell, or, as a last option, recycle. There are many gaps in the average textile market for managing post-consumer garment flows. The lack of financial incentives isn't pushing developments forward quickly enough. At Nudie Jeans, we prioritize sustainability by accepting returns of all products sold in our physical stores, except socks and underwear, and offering Reuse discount vouchers for future purchases. We resell Re-use Denim directly in stores and are developing systems to recondition jeans at higher volumes. Additionally, our climate action plan includes Reuse product sales to decouple revenue from carbon emissions. What's your five cents? Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!?

The Swedish Textile Initiative for Climate Action (STICA) 2024 Progress Report is now live. It's an important read whether you're in the industry or a consumer. The closer we get to our target year 2030, the harder we need to work to decrease our emissions, but we are proud to show that we are on track. Read more about Nudie Jeans' and the other STICA members' progress towards our emissions reduction targets on the link below. It also includes an analysis and general conclusions drawn by the Sustainable Fashion Academy (SFA). https://lnkd.in/dJ5ZiF7m

12 minutes ago, we launched our first installment of the very limited capsule Re-use Gold. This exclusive collection features 10 pairs of unique, unisex selvage denim jeans, each with its own history and character. These jeans started as dry denim between 2009 and 2022, and are the most rare and beautiful examples of Create Tomorrow's Vintage in practice. Now, a pair of worn, torn, and repaired Nudie Jeans gains in value. Emotionally, each rip and patch tells a story, making the jeans a canvas of personal history. The act of repairing them deepens the connection, turning them into more than just clothing—they become a part of your identity. In a world of disposability, these jeans symbolize durability, sustainability, and authentic personal expression. With the Re-use Gold collection, we want to highlight the beauty of pre-owned denim and encourages environmentally conscious choices. https://lnkd.in/din-wr3a

We had such a good and valuable time with Following the Footprints at our last Open Mic night at our Repair Shop in Soho a while back. So it needed a follow up! ?? Wednesday 27th November - 7-9pm ?? Nudie Jeans, Seven Dials, London Today’s leading consumer brands are thinking about the impact of their actions on tomorrow’s world.?Every year, Black Friday brings into focus the role we as brands, and as consumers, play. So, we're asking ourselves... ?? How can this day be an education opportunity? ?? What is necessary to shift consumer mindsets into valuing products that will last them a lifetime? ?? What role does reuse have in overconsumption? ?? How do we price products appropriately? ?? Can better stock management and sales have a positive impact? The 'Open Mic' format allows us, as a room, to share our thoughts on some of these questions. ???????? here: https://lu.ma/dy4j3bk0
