As we enter Thanksgiving week, we’re reflecting on how much we have to be grateful for here at Nucleate. In August, we shared our 5-Year Impact Report, celebrating the incredible journey of our community—from a small student-led program to a global nonprofit with 41 chapters, 15 programs, and over 255 teams empowered worldwide. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our partners, mentors, advisors, volunteers, and sponsors. This week, we want to say THANK YOU: ?? To our partners and sponsors for believing in our mission and fueling our growth. ?? To our volunteer leaders for their dedication and vision. ?? ??Like attracts like??, and a few weeks ago Nucleate Seattle was excited to yet again support an opportunity for local female biotech leaders to network for an evening! This was out third women's dinner in Seattle, supported by Nucleate and Lyda Hill Philanthropies, which provides female trainees in #academia the chance to network with female leaders in the #biotech community. At this dinner, Lindsay Pino (Talus Bio) and Elizabeth Ruzzo, PhD (adyn) provided their time and experience as #startup founders to craft a memorable night! Along with everyone above, we want to thank and highlight the work by the Women Leading Life Sciences team and our own #leadership at Nucleate Seattle which helped make this possible! We are looking forward to hosting more events in the future, but keep an eye out, because space fills up fast!

I’m incredibly grateful to have been included as a #panelist in the final Genesis lecture in Nucleate Seattle's event on professional development. The experience was made even more rewarding by the quality of the fellow panelists and the thoughtful questions posed by the audience. A big thank you to the Nucleate team for putting together such a fantastic event! I’m excited for what’s to come and looking forward to future opportunities to #collaborate.
During our last ??Genesis?? lecture, someone said "Begin with the end in mind". It's a well known phrase, and Genesis started that way, with a goal to help educate Seattle academics on how to build a biotech startup! Over a year ago, Daniel Carr planted the seeds of Genesis, and this past week we saw the ??culmination of those efforts??! Over eight week, almost 400 people registered for Genesis and attended one of eight lectures ranging from IP discussions??, to the ideation?? of startups and how to raise capital??. We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who attended; YOU made Genesis special and we hope to see you at more Nucleate Seattle events! Genesis was also a launch-pad for #Activator! We spoke with a number of attendees for whom Genesis was the reason they took the next step and are looking at the Nucleate Activator Program!
