These dinners promote women-focused, close conversation that strive towards advancing science innovation, featuring leaders in the biotech space: Eileen McGuire – Partner, Polaris Partners Christalyn Rhodes, Ph.D. – Associate VP, Eli Lilly and Company This is part of Nucleate’s new global initiative to support women in leadership positions. The initiative aims to bring together women trainees in leadership positions with current women leaders in the life sciences. A big thank you to Lyda Hill Philanthropies and Lili Clark for making this initiative possible and supporting women’s leadership in biotech. The Rice Business Plan Competition gives collegiate entrepreneurs real-world experience to pitch their startups, enhance their business strategy and learn what it takes to launch a successful company. Hosted by the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, the RBPC has become the world’s largest and richest student start-up competition, with teams competing for more than $1 million in cash, investments and prizes. MabLab produces accurate, affordable, and easy-to-use rapid tests to screen for the five deadliest lacing agents with unparalleled accuracy. Microvitality is working to make significant contributions to the development of life-saving therapeutics, gut health diagnostics, and microbiome research.
