NUCA NJ kicked off the year with a productive trip to Washington, D.C.! Executive Director Evan Piscitelli and the Government Affairs Steering Committee met with key lawmakers, including Senator Bernie Moreno (OH), Chairman Sam Graves (MO), Representatives Jim Jordan (OH), Rick Larsen (WA), and others. Discussions focused on replacing aging utility infrastructure, securing funding for water and energy projects, permitting reform, and workforce development solutions. These conversations are just getting started, with NUCA representatives scheduled to testify at upcoming hearings. Our Executive Director will soon return to D.C. for additional meetings with key officials from the Trump Administration, as well as the annual May Fly-In with the full association.
