About Last Night… The North Texas Disability Chamber hosted its inaugural Community Forums in partnership with Best Buddies in Texas and hosted by Comerica Bank at The Star in Frisco. Community forums bring diverse members including but not limited to elected officials, business leaders, nonprofits, and community members within the disability community to discuss and share local, regional issues from an advocacy perspective. “Last night, I was on cloud nine as this community forum needed to happen. The engagement from diverse participants made discussions impactful. Kudos to Linda Kordek-Milton on drafting such powerful questions and for collaborating with us. Our community forums provide an opportunity for elected officials, nonprofits, business leaders, and members of the disability community to discuss, share, and learn about local and regional issues from an advocacy perspective.
