We designed a custom fixture to streamline our process, enabling us to finish these parts in just two operations with a single fixture! We made two fixtures - one for the operational phase and another for loading while the machine was in action. This block of 4140 steel lost a lot of weight! Who knew all it took was a day in our DN Solutions America DNM5700S! (No need for ozempic) We used 4140 material for this part because it is well-suited for both flame hardening and carburizing due to it's high carbon content.
