The historic Tivoli Theatre and adjacent Trigg-Smartt building will soon be transformed into Chattanooga's premiere performing arts facility. The expanded venue will feature the beautifully restored original theatre, a new 190-seat Bobby Stone Theatre, expanded lobby spaces, a restaurant, six bar areas, and more— all while carefully preserving the architectural heritage that earned both buildings spots on the National Register of Historic Places. Once complete, this project will provide the Chattanooga community with enhanced cultural spaces and educational opportunities for generations to come, exemplifying our mission of preserving historic landmarks while creating spaces that benefit communities. We're excited to highight our involvement in the restoration of Chattanooga's iconic "Jewel of the South", the Tivoli Theatre. Built in 1921, the historic Tivoli theatre and the adjoining Trigg-Smartt building are undergoing a $73 million transformation into a modern performing arts center. NTCIC is providing financing through historic tax credits and new markets tax credits to support this community-focused renovation.
