We are seeking two experienced Real Estate Title Specialists to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential for full-time opportunities. If you have a passion for real estate and a strong background in handling escrow transactions, we want to hear from you! Job Description:?As a Real Estate Title Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the real estate closing process. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: * Preparing title searches and commitments. * Managing the disbursement of funds to ensure proper distribution. * Preparing and organizing miscellaneous documents required at closing. * Entering closing figures, balancing files, and ensuring accurate funding. * Ensuring the closing package is properly executed. * Attending and managing real estate closings. * Reviewing title commitments and collecting title clearance. * Reviewing mortgage payoffs for accuracy and transmitting payoff funds. * Acting as the liaison between attorneys and lenders during closing. Requirements: * A minimum of 1 years of professional experience handling escrow transactions. * Experience in the paralegal, real estate or title industry. * Must have an active notary license or obtain one upon hiring. * Ability to multitask and be flexible in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent skills in writing professional correspondence and routine reports. * Proficiency in calculating figures such as interest, prorations, and commissions. * Ability to read and interpret real estate-specific documents. * Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for setting priorities and problem resolution. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software. * Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. * Spanish speaking is a plus.
