Enjoyed hosting the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) this week at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). We provided an overview of ERDC, materials laboratory tours, a review of our accelerated pavement testing capability, a review of physical hydraulic models, and a brief visit to the supercomputing center with Robert Moser. NSSGA invites you to join us in making October into ROCKtober. Ready to get involved? Share your story. We want to highlight how your operation works in its community. Maybe you donate material to a local baseball league, shovel snow or donate product for local roads in the winter, host an annual food drive, or get involved in other great ways. These are the stories we want to share on social media! We encourage participation from all NSSGA Members. Send a brief description (1-2 sentences) of how the facility engages with the community and a photo of the action to the NSSGA Communications Team at [email protected]. We'll share these graphics on social media using the hashtag #ROCKtober.
