#FRC Recap! This November was a BUSY one for me, as I attended three consecutive National Society of Black Engineers Fall Regional Conferences, using the opportunity to talk to students about the NSBE Energy Special Interest Group (SIG) and its work and to talk about careers in the energy sector. FRCs were a way for me, as a professional, to give back to students and guide them as they move forward in their studies and future work careers. They were also an opportunity to connect with old and new friends inside and outside of NSBE and take some time to explore the cities I was visiting! Stop 1: Region II NSBE Fall Conference in Philadelphia, PA Stop 2: Region III NSBE Fall Conference in Birmingham, AL Stop 3: Region I NSBE Fall Conference in Stamford, CT Each conference had its own unique flavor and vibe, and I personally want to thank the NSBE student leaders who put countless hours in to make these conferences. They are an example of why NSBE is all about “positively impacting the community.”?
