Honoring Our Founder, Nancy Plimpton – Women in Construction Week In honor of Women in Construction Week, we celebrate Nancy Plimpton and the lasting impact she has had on our industry. In 1989, Nancy founded NPW Contracting with a vision: to specialize in waterproofing and expansion devices for civil and architectural projects. She started from her basement with a tractor-feed printer, a ‘tissue paper’ fax machine, and an unwavering determination to succeed—laying the foundation for what NPW is today. Through hard work and expertise, Nancy secured certifications from the City of Denver, CDOT, RTD. Her legacy of resilience and excellence continues to inspire NPW today. ??
