Last week we invited our enterprise partners to our newly renovated office and fabrication space to showcase the updates we have made. These changes improve how we serve our customers by maximizing operational efficiency for our teams, expanding our workspace and adding equipment to extend our capabilities. Along with these changes, General Contractor RMCI, moved into our facility which gives them more room to grow their team and tackle new projects. Electrical Apprentice, Colton T., got his start in the trades young, beginning his journey at just 14 years old. By the age of 16, he knew this was the field he wanted to be in. Currently working in temporary power in our fabrication shop has been a great learning opportunity as it has helped him gain many new skills and knowledge in different aspects of the industry. “I love the chaotic nature of construction and the friendships I have made,” says Colton. Getting hands-on experience while connecting with people who share the same desire to further develop and advance their careers is a positive aspect of the trades. Our VC team has been working hard, modeling most of the electrical within multiple buildings for one of our large data center projects. Working on elements such as lighting, telecommunications, cable trays, feeders, branch power, fiber runners, and more. Our fabrication team then fabricates the necessary materials according to the project and its specifications, assembles it all into organized kits, and delivers them to site in a timely manner ready for installation. #NoxInnovations #innovatetogether #Construction #ConstructionIndustry #VirtualConstruction #Fabrication #DataCenter

All of our newly hired team members, from VC Engineers to Project Coordinators, have the opportunity to participate in our Nox Innovations training program, where they will learn our processes, programs, and the tools necessary to excel in their roles. This 90 day program is beneficial for us to ensure our team is prepared and comfortable to begin their roles. For the first 45 days, they will learn in a self-paced module training created by our training team, finishing their next 45 days with on the job training. With our recent office expansion, our new training room has given us the ability to train more employees with a greater interactive and collaborative approach. We use real materials to showcase different elements of the models that will be used to complete projects. Ultimately, our program allows individuals to learn without the pressure of a project in real time. They can do this in an environment that does not affect our production and allows them to freely and comfortably learn while getting hands-on experience learning materials in our prefab shop. #NoxInnovations #innovatetogether #construction #constructionindustry #virtualconstruction #Training

Arizona Careers in Construction Days is one of our favorite events as we are able to educate and showcase the capabilities of our departments to high school students who are interested in joining the trades or have curiosities about the industry. Informing the younger generations about the many possibilities within virtual construction and fabrication, in fun, interactive ways is something we are grateful to get out and do.
