Nova Ambiente assists Mirastar on the acquisition of a logistics property near Hanover! KKR Real Estate and its European industrial and logistics platform Mirastar have acquired a logistics property near Hanover.?The seller of the approximately 49,000 sqm property in Burgwedel is immofonds 1, a public fund of Union Investment Real Estate Austria. It was developed in 2017, the tenants are Fiege and Rossman. Amongst other actions, KKR and Mirastar plan to further improve the property's ESG footprint by installing solar panels on the roof. Nova Ambiente supports Brookfield's investment in a residential project in Cologne! Brookfield is investing in an inner-city residential project in the Marienburg district of Cologne. The Die Welle project is currently owned by property funds managed by the Empira Group. Brookfield's investment will support the ongoing construction of the project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. The project will be built on the former Deutsche Welle site. 70 of the 752 rental apartments will be social housing, along with more than 600 underground parking spaces, 5,000 square metres of commercial space and a daycare centre. Sustainability is an important feature of the development, which is designed to achieve KFW 40 NH and DGNB Platinum standards. Nova Ambiente assists AEW on the acquisition of a residential project in Frankfurt! Investment and asset manager AEW has acquired a residential portfolio in Frankfurt am Main for a German core mandate. The portfolio consists of seven new buildings with a total of 18,400 square metres of living space spread over 255 units in Nordend, Niederrad and Eschersheim. The seller is the Praemia REIM Group. Six of the seven properties are almost fully let, while one is under construction and currently undergoing completion. The portfolio also includes commercial and retail space with a mix of restaurants, retail and educational facilities. Nova Ambiente assists Nuveen on the acquisition of a logistics property near Munich Nuveen Real Estate has acquired a property in Erding as part of its European logistics strategy. The property is fully let and was commissioned in 2022. The total lettable area consists of almost 7,300 square metres, It also has an electric heating system and DGNB Gold certification. According to Garbe Managing Director Jan Philipp Daun, Munich and the surrounding area are among the top logistics locations due to the density of industry and the associated high demand for logistics space. However, the supply of new logistics space is largely exhausted and hardly any space for new buildings is being designated or approved.
