Nova Hotel Renovation & Construction, a leading company in hospitality renovations, is seeking experienced Construction Superintendents and Project Managers with expertise in hotel renovations and construction.
Construction Superintendent (Hotel Renovations)
Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, particularly in hotel renovations.
- In-depth knowledge of both interior and exterior renovation processes, including demolition, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and finishes.
- Proven experience in overseeing subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring quality control.
- Familiarity with hospitality brand standards and Property Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Competence in troubleshooting on-site issues while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective coordination with owners, project managers, and subcontractors.
Certifications & Education:
- OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Degree in construction management or a related field (preferred but not required).
Project Manager (Hotel Renovations)
Experience & Skills:
- 3-5+ years of experience in commercial construction, specifically hotel renovations.
- Strong experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Familiarity with hotel brands and knowledge of franchise requirements (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, Wyndham, Choice, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Procore, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing project conditions.
Certifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- PMP certification (a plus).
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
Both positions require travel flexibility and the capacity to work on-site for extended periods.
