For more than 50 years, Nourishing Hope (formerly Lakeview Pantry) has served as an invaluable resource in Chicago, ensuring our low-income neighbors have enough to eat and have access to critical, and sometimes lifesaving, social services. Together, we have directly improved the lives of thousands of our community members. Last year we provided over 200,000 food, mental health and social services throughout the city. We distribute the equivalent of more than 4.5 million meals annually. Our Mission: Nourishing Hope through food, mental health and social services so that all of our neighbors can thrive. We envision a city where all people have the resources needed for a dignified life. Join us to provide food for today, and hope for tomorrow.

Yesterday Ana Petersohn, our manager of home delivery north, and our CEO Kellie O'Connell had the pleasure of attending Forefront (Illinois)'s annual summit. This summit brings together nonprofit professionals to build connections and community. Kellie and Ana represented Nourishing Hope at this year's summit, focused on building a united, thriving and equity-focused social impact sector across Illinois. ???? Great work, Kellie and Ana!

Congratulations to Nourishing Hope’s chief program officer, Jennie Filicky Hull, on completing the 2024 Signature Fellows program with Leadership Greater Chicago. This is the region's premiere civic leadership development program.
