All nominations are due by end of day on November 18, 2024. Awards will be celebrated and winners recognized at the Club Christmas Party. The Board of Directors' Service Awards began as a way to recognize Club members who have made significant contributions to our Club and local community throughout the current year and recent past. These awards are presented to individual(s) (Club member and/or non-Club members) who are seen as actively contributing to Club success. These awards are a timely and public “thank you”. Nominations for these awards are open to all Club members and are voted on by the members of the Board of Directors. Current members of the Board of Directors are ineligible to receive these awards during their term. Awards are presented annually at a recognition event. Service to the Community Award/Community Service Award: The purpose of this award is to recognize a person(s) who has contributed to the Notre Dame Club of Dallas community service programs or to the overall North Texas (club geographic area) in a meaningful and impactful way. The award recognizes those who fulfill Fr. Sorin’s vision of a force for good in our local community. Service to the Club Award/Camaraderie Award: This award recognizes the individual(s) who build a spirit of warmth, togetherness, welcoming and inclusion at club events. The recipient may also contribute to the club by bringing new people to club events or just regularly hosting events and helping “build camaraderie”. Service to Education Award: The purpose of this award is to recognize an individual who significantly contributes to the continuing education of club members or serves and supports education more broadly. This award does not replace the Teacher of the Year Award. Young Alumni Award: This award is to recognize a member of the alumni community who graduated in the last 10 years whose service in the club has been meaningful and impactful.
