Feeling Thankful This Thanksgiving ?? I found this picture from my last year in Philly… just me, sitting in my apartment, eating Thanksgiving dinner alone. Thanksgiving always gets me thinking about the past, where I’m headed and where I am now. Back then, and even now, some days are easier than others, as I was dealing with past demons and feeling like I was fighting my battles alone. Fast forward to now, and things are so different. There are still challenges, but I’m trying to be intentional every day to find my purpose and make the most of this next chapter. One thing I’m really proud of, and that’s helped me on this journey, is the work I've started to do with NOSOLO. Their message, “nobody goes solo” (NOSOLO), hits home for me in a big way. Especially around the holidays, it’s just so important to remind people they’re not alone. If you’re in a tough spot, don’t keep it to yourself. Reach out and talk to someone. There are people who care about you, and there’s always someone out there who’s ready to listen. Sometimes it’ll surprise you who that person may be. This Thanksgiving I’m thankful for my family, newfound passions, and the chance to help others who might feel the way I did back in Philly. Wishing you all a Thanksgiving filled with good people, good food, and good vibes. And if you’re struggling, don’t be afraid to reach out—for help or just to talk. ??
