This year's Midwest Traffic Safety Conference was a great success! One of the highlights was the crash testing, which featured pedestrian and bicycle collisions. Thank you Collision Analytics LLC for your great demonstrations!
At this year's Midwest Traffic Safety Conference, we assisted with crash testing and captured excellent demonstrations of pedestrian kinematics. When analyzing pedestrian and bicycle collisions, it's crucial to determine the pedestrian's kinematic trajectory by thoroughly examining the scene, vehicle, and injury evidence. This testing would not have been possible without the generous contributions of Northwestern University Center for Public Safety, ILLINOIS TRUCK ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATION LTD/Midwest Center For Traffic Safety, Napars, Gregory Russell, Hillside Towing (Arlington Heights), and G&D Trucking, Inc./ Hoffman Transportation, LLC (Channahon).
