Formerly known as Burke-Gilman Playground Park, the Landscape Architecture Firm, Site Workshop's redesigned park in Seattle’s Laurelhurst neighborhood has been renamed "Pathways Park" as a nod to the two looping trails that intertwine and meet at various points within the fully accessible park. WholeTrees' partnered with Northwest Playground Equipment to bring the gazebo pavilion seen here as well as multiple sculptural trees to support the renovation of this Seattle playground park into a nature-based park for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The The Seattle Times had a great highlight on Seattle Parks and Recreation's outstanding Pier 58 project over the weekend. For those who saw my post a few week's ago the Earthscape Play jellyfish continues to get more impressive with every update! And poured-in-place by No Fault Surfaces certainly adds to the design aesthetic emulating the swirling Puget Sound below. As a kid who grew up in Green Lake it's so cool to see this portion of the waterfront activated again in such an amazing way! #buildingcommunity https://lnkd.in/gH9sBCwv?
