Achieving long-term market change through collaboration
关于我们
The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) is an alliance of more than 140 utilities and energy efficiency organizations working on behalf of more than 13 million energy consumers to increase the adoption of energy-efficient products, services and practices. To do this, the alliance identifies and removes market barriers to energy efficiency to drive permanent change throughout the supply chain. This formalized, lasting approach is known as Market Transformation. Since 1997, NEEA and the region have saved enough energy to power more than 900,000 homes each year. Energy efficiency can satisfy more than half of our new demand for energy, saving us money and keeping the Northwest a healthy and vibrant place to live. NEEA has ranked in the top 100 non-profits and green companies to work for in Oregon, and we “walk our talk†in our LEED-certified headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Come join our team of smart, passionate, and experienced professionals to achieve our mission. If you are looking for a challenging career in an industry with booming potential, you've found the right place! NEEA offers a generous healthcare package, professional development funds, retirement savings with employer matching, remote work options. In addition, we offer a flexible 9/80 schedule to help our employees achieve a better work-life balance.

That's a wrap on #HotAirHotWater25! Room heat pumps, connected commissioning, and commercial and residential dual fuel HVAC technologies took center stage on Thursday. We learned from Christopher Dymond that connected commissioning of residential heat pumps immediately after installation has the potential for increased #energysavings, can provide a digital checklist to verify for energy efficiency programs, and can help the customer understand that the unit is working well. It also has many benefits for #HVACcontractors including streamlining commissioning for contractors, providing data for future service calls and providing quality assurance for dealer management. What's next for NEEA SME's? The team will be attending the annual Efficiency Exchange conference on May 20-21 in Portland, Oregon. Sign up today! https://lnkd.in/g45vUYd6 Suzi Asmus M. What have learned today at #HotAirHotWater25? -There's a lot of interest in combination efficient hot water/HVAC systems. Meg Waltner, PE, LEED AP from Energy 350 gave attendees a sneak peek at NEEA's dual fuel demonstration project that integrates natural gas water heating with an electric heat pump - more to come in 2026. Slide below. -Also, Panama Bartholomy wrapped up the morning plenary with this nugget that the most important constituency to advancing Market Transformation of heat pumps are installers -And on that note Troy Zdzieblowski of Evergreen Energy Partners talked about the important work NEEA is doing to support key installers of heat pump water heaters in the region from in the field technical and installation support to consulting on installer marketing efforts.
