As we end the second day of NorthStar Homecoming, we are filled with gratitude and inspiration! Thank you to Linda Harris for her compelling keynote on how GIS can empower communities for lasting impact. We were inspired by Frank Romo, who shared how his work equips communities with the tools to drive their missions. DeAnthony Neal captivated us with his journey as a student learner and leader, emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning and growth. Abraham Liddell, Ph.D. and Jason Sawle brought fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to GIS, sparking valuable discussions. Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to Vernice Miller-Travis for her powerful insights on the intersection of environmental justice and geospatial technology.
