It was a privilege to be at #PaCT this week workshopping dual use Applied AI and data collaboration across Pacific partner nations. On a personal note, I’m particularly proud that Northslope is building for this mission - 80 years ago this week my grandfather and his fellow Marines won the battle for Iwo Jima. I think he’d be proud to see the US and Japan working together on technology to strengthen collaboration and prevent future conflict in the Pacific. A huge thanks to Pacific International Center For High Technology Research - PICHTR for including the Northslope Technologies team in this vital work, we are looking forward to continuing to build together.

"If you work for Palantir, everyone knows you're good." Every CEO wants to think they have the best team. Palantir CEO, Alex Karp, knows he has the best team and will scream it from the rooftops (or CNBC's Squawk Box). And... the data back up his claims. Palantirians dramatically outperform alumni from other top companies. 1) Palantir has produced 59% more executive-level alumni versus the average at other “mafia” companies (those known for producing top talent). 2) Since the start of 2024, Palantir has produced more alumni founders than Netflix, Adobe, Stripe, and PayPal – companies with orders of magnitude more employees. 3) Over 1-in-5 alumni product managers from Palantir have gone on to become founders (cc data shared with Lenny Rachitsky). 4) Palantir's top talent competitors (based on who they recruit from and lose to) are Microsoft, Google, Meta, and Amazon. 5) The top next companies for Palantirians in the last year are Big Tech companies, Quant shops, and the hottest AI and defense startups including OpenAI, Scale AI, ElevenLabs, Anduril Industries, Nominal, Northslope Technologies, and Vannevar Labs. If you ask me (based on the data), the claim that "No credible institution in commercial life can really be built without Palantir or an ex-Palantirian," holds.
