NorthSight Recovery had the pleasure of welcoming April Reed, Vice President of Advocacy for Ability360, to facilitate our cultural competency training. April's insights were invaluable as she guided our staff through the importance of understanding and supporting individuals with disabilities. Ability360’s mission is to offer and promote programs designed to empower people with disabilities so that they may continue independent lifestyles within the community.? Programs include independent living skills instruction, home care services, employment search, and recreation at their fully accessible Sports and Fitness Center. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from April and to further our commitment to inclusivity and empowerment in our services. #CulturalCompetency #DisabilityAdvocacy #Inclusivity #Empowerment #NorthSightRecovery #Ability360 #Training #CommunitySupport #AccessibleServices #StaffDevelopment #AdvocacyInAction #LearningTogether

?? Celebrating the Power of Connection and Self-Discovery at Art Of Our Soul & NorthSight Recovery ??? I am truly honored and humbled to be a part of an incredible journey that unfolds every Friday at Art Of Our Soul & NorthSight Recovery. It is a place where individuals can find solace, support, and a safe space to express themselves. ?? Art becomes a powerful tool for self-expression, healing, and growth. It allows us the individual to delve into the layers of self, unraveling emotions, and guide us through trauma. I have witnessed individuals find liberation and a renewed sense of purpose during each session. ??? But what truly makes these art sessions extraordinary is the unity and camaraderie that blossoms within the group. We support and cheer each other on, knowing that we are not alone in our struggles. Together, we find the courage to face our fears, embrace our vulnerabilities, and emerge stronger than ever before. . . . . . . . ?? Brandon Lee ??
