Since 1989, the North Metro Denver Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has been dedicated to helping existing and new businesses grow and prosper by providing free and confidential consulting and no- or low-cost training programs. In the last two years, we have helped 43 businesses start, created 136 jobs, retained 96 employees and helped to infuse $5.5 million in capital. The main North Metro Denver SBDC office is located at Front Range Community College in Westminster. Satellite location offering both consulting and training are located in Brighton, Broomfield and Commerce City. All locations provide free, confidential one-on-one business consulting and low-cost training. The SBDC combines information and resources from federal, state and local governments with those of the education system and private sector to meet the specialized and complex needs of the small business community. Consulting experts work in partnership to provide entrepreneurs with crucial information that can mean the difference between success and failure. Over the last ten years, the North Metro Denver SBDC has helped its clients start 163 businesses, create and retain over 690 jobs and infuse $17.6 million in capital.
