Yesterday, Northlight Theatre staff took a meaningful tour of Evanston with the Shorefront Legacy Center, immersing ourselves in the Black history of our community. We visited key historical sites such as the 5th ward and the former Community Hospital of Evanston. For those interested in learning more, the Shorefront Legacy Center's podcast, Evanston Rules, will feature an insightful series on the Community Hospital of Evanston starting June 26. We highly recommend tuning in!

Mark your calendars for Clothing Give Back Day at Northlight Theatre! The set of #BrooklynLaundry is filled with racks of real clothes, all of which were acquired through generous donations – and we’re ready to GIVE BACK! Throughout the run, we are making overflow donations available to audience members at every performance. And when the production ends, the nearly 2,000 pieces of clothing hanging on set will need good homes. On May 13 at 10:00am, join Northlight Theatre at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts for a Clothing Give Back Day!
