The award honors an individual who has made a seismic impression on the work they do on behalf of patients. Steve has been an unwavering leader in Minnesota health care and for MHA. MHA facilitates the Summer Health Care Internship Program, which connects paid interns to hands-on health care experience across Minnesota. This summer, Skyller Lopez is shadowing physicians and nurses, witnessing procedures, and helping in the lab at Northfield Hospital + Clinics.
