Northern Suburban Special Education District

The Northern Suburban Special Education District (NSSED) is a special education cooperative that provides programs, services and coaching, and consultation to our 18 member districts. NSSED Vision Statement: Committed to the possibilities in every student. NSSED Mission Statement: Help students become successful, happy adults in home, work and community. Provide education that fosters acquisition and utilization of knowledge and skills, meaningful and satisfying interaction with others, appropriate self-advocacy, social conscientiousness and participation, and lifelong healthy life styles.
