We’re proud to share that the NREUV-NIXDEV Team has been selected to lead the transformational redevelopment of the Deanwood Metro Station in Washington, D.C. This exciting project represents an opportunity to reimagine one of the city’s most historic and culturally rich neighborhoods. As one of Washington D.C.’s oldest African-American suburbs, Deanwood has a powerful legacy of resilience, creativity, and community pride—and we are deeply honored to build on that foundation. Our vision is to create an inclusive, economically empowering space for the Deanwood Community. This development will bring 169 new residential units with a mix of affordable housing, alongside more than 20,000 square feet of neighborhood-serving retail, a Teen Tech Center, and Project Community Capital health and business services.
