Congratulations to Jeanne Wontkowski, PT, outpatient physical therapist, for being recognized as our Q3 Northern Stars Clinical Employee of the Quarter! "Jeanne is the cornerstone of the outpatient therapy team. The work she has done in the field of vestibular rehabilitation has set her apart. She serves as a mentor to all of our clinicians providing in-service presentations, consulting on patients, and off-the-clock education to share her extensive knowledge. Jeanne goes way above and beyond the role of staff physical therapist. Jeanne not only treats patients in the outpatient clinic but has championed a pilot program for physical therapy treatment in the emergency department to better serve our patient populations. She can be seen frequently bouncing between the ED and the outpatient office to both treat patients of her own and consult with other providers. I know I speak for the entire outpatient rehab team when I say that I consider myself extremely blessed to have a coworker and mentor like Jeanne, and I know our community and NNMC are lucky to have her on our team as well." Thank you for all you do, Jeanne!

Congratulations to Christine Anderson, senior pharmacy tech at Sierra Medical Center, for being recognized as the Q3 Sierra Superstars awards! "I was rounding and one patient stated how Christine went above and beyond. He had stated to Christine that he was a fire evacuee and was now staying in the hospital due to his oxygen needs. He was supposed to have a friend that he hadn't seen in over 30 years visit him but he had no way of getting ahold of her. When Christine heard this, she took it upon herself to drive to the friend's hotel after work and make contact. Because of this, the patient's friend was able to locate him in the hospital and visit him. Christine's compassion and service to this patient will be forever recognized by this patient." You are a true superstar, Christine!
