We're hiring! Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS)-Full-time.??Utilizes personal lived experience to support the recovery journey of persons seeking recovery from substance use.?Connects participants with appropriate resources based on individual self-care plans.?Must be in successful and ongoing recovery from mental health and/or substance use challenges for at least one year, or have at least one year as a family member supporting a loved one with mental health and/or substance use challenges.???Must complete DBHDS 72-hour Peer Recovery Specialist training.?Accumulation of 500 hours of experience providing peer support services may be completed on the job. ?Completion of certification exam required. ?High school diploma/GED required.?Must abide by PRS code of ethics. ?Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed.?Prior experience desirable, certification preferred.
