Tonight was a special evening in the NORTHERN LEHIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT High School Gymnasium. It was a night that reminded us of the importance of celebrating currrent achievements and honoring those who have paved the way, setting the bar high for future generations. Congratulations to Katelynn, a member of our NLHS Girls Basketball team, for reaching an incredible milestone by scoring her 1,000th point! Your hard work, dedication, and talent are an inspiration to us all. We also had the privilege of inducting our newest Ring of Honor recipients, recognizing those whose contributions and accomplishments have shaped the legacy of Northern Lehigh athletics. A special shoutout to Coach Brian Schell and the entire 1998 PIAA State Championship NLHS Softball Team for their monumental achievement. Northern Lehigh Middle School and High School have been honored as Schools of? Distinction at the recent CFES Brilliant Pathways Annual Conference—a prestigious recognition that highlights the district's commitment to preparing students for college, careers, and beyond. This award reflects the dedication of educators and students to building essential skills, fostering mentorship, and creating pathways for success. At the conference, Middle School Principal David Hauser presented on innovative practices that bridge the gap between K-12 education and workforce readiness. “This recognition validates the hard work our team puts into making our school one that truly prepares students for their futures. All teachers strive for this, but the educators at Northern Lehigh Middle School shine in achieving it,” Hauser shared. High School Principal Lori Bali, Ph.D., highlighted the success of their Lunch and Learn model, which provides students and faculty extra time for skill-building, goal-setting, and mentoring. “Our partnership with CFES has created a culture of college and career readiness that serves as the foundation for students’ futures, no matter what pathway they choose,” Bali noted. Northern Lehigh is absolutely stunning in the fall. As the leaves change and the cool air rolls in, the natural beauty of our campus shines through even more. It’s a reminder of the unique charm our community offers. But this year, there's even more to be excited about! Our new softball and baseball complex is progressing nicely, and it's going to enhance our facilities in ways we can all be proud of. This time next year, this fall landscape will be the backdrop for some of the best sports complexes around, giving our students and community another reason to celebrate Northern Lehigh's continued growth.
