In line with the positive sentiments among the middle market investment bankers, lawyers and private equity professionals I interact with regularly, this Bloomberg article by Aisha S Gani and Ruth David suggests a lot of optimism about M&A heading into the new year. Sponsors and corporates are actively engaging on transactions opportunities. Barring issues we know could flare (geopolitical issues, inflation, trade challenges, budget deficits, etc.), 2025 should deliver healthy transaction volume.
