North Easton Savings Bank

The North Easton Savings Bank team is proud to offer $40,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors in participating high schools this year. To be considered for a scholarship, each student must meet the eligibility requirements, complete the application packet, provide a letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor or teacher, along with a one-page essay that answers the question: "How do community banks benefit society and how have they impacted your community?". Applications are available through participating schools' guidance departments and close on May 2nd.

National Employee Appreciation Day Everything we accomplish as a Bank is due to our great team. On this National Employee Appreciation Day, we want to thank all of our amazing team members for once again making NESB a top place to work and grow. This past Tuesday, the Bank was able to bring the entire team together to celebrate our most recent awards, including being named a Top Places to Work 2024 by the Boston Globe and Top Work Places 2024 by USA Today.

Thank you to the administration and faculty at Norton High School and Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School for inviting us in to provide sound financial literacy programing to our local area high school students.?Students participated in the real-life budgeting simulation, Credit For Life Fair, selecting an occupation and working through a monthly budget based on their projected salary.?Additionally, life skills stations taught students specific tasks like tying a tie, professionally answering a call, addressing an envelope, and writing out a check.?Thank you to all our partners at Norton High School and Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School for supporting our students and preparing them for life after graduation.??

Thank you to the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce for another successful Annual Meeting following a great 2024 for the Chamber. Our team is excited to continue its collaboration with area businesses and the PACC in 2025 and beyond.

Father Bill's & MainSpring celebrated the grand opening of the new Smith Family Housing Resource Center & Yawkey Hall.?The Smith Family Housing Resource Center will replace the downtown Brockton shelter with a campus-like day center and shelter to support individuals experiencing a housing crisis. Yawkey Hall, located on the same site, will provide 32 permanent supportive housing units for formerly homeless individuals.?Thank you, Father Bill’s & MainSpring, for providing the necessary resources to those facing housing challenges and?thank you to their staff, supporters and constituents for making this project come to life. We are honored to be associated with an organization like Father Bill’s & MainSpring.

We had the pleasure of participating with our local partner Metro South Chamber of Commerce at the Good Day Metro South – Easton Edition held at Stonehill College.?An amazing collection of panelists with introductions to new stakeholders and updates on all the great things going on in our collaborative communities of Easton and Brockton.?The luncheon wrapped up with an inspiring and informative speech by Massachusetts State Auditor, Diana DiZoglio.?Thank you to Metro South Chamber and all the community stakeholders for coming together for an impactful afternoon.
