Your dedication to fostering a sense of belonging and unity among African graduate students is commendable. The African Graduate Student Association aims to create a supportive network that celebrates the rich diversity of African cultures within the graduate student community. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where ideas, experiences, and aspirations can be shared and celebrated. The organization was initiated in January 2023 with the support of the African Global Initiative at?Northeastern University, and after months of collaborating with the student body and working to build the constitution, the organization was officially approved by Northeastern in September 2023. We would also like to thank our amazing advisor, Dr. Wamai, who supported the initiation process and provided excellent support; our first meeting with him was in March 2023. A successful Career Day concluded last Saturday, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the African Graduate Student Association (AGSA) and the Nigerian Professional Group Inc. (NPG) We extend our sincere gratitude to the NPG board and members for sharing their knowledge and experience with our attendees. Your contributions made the event a resounding success. We also want to thank all the participants for taking the time to attend. Your presence made the event truly special.
