The Northeastern Subcontractors Association (NESCA) is an association of almost 500 subcontractors, specialty contractors and material suppliers serving the construction industry in Northeastern New York. NESCA is the only local association that represents subcontractors and suppliers above all other considerations. For over 50 years, NESCA has become a well-recognized force within New York State’s construction industry, and within the community as a whole. NESCA is affiliated with a statewide association, the Empire State Subcontractors Association, Inc. (ESSA). The purpose of the state association is to address statewide problems on a unified basis. NESCA is also affiliated with a national association, the National Subcontractors Alliance (NSA). NSA is an umbrella organization of construction industry trade associations from across the United States.

One week from today is NESCA's annual holiday party! We hope to see a lot of our members at this festive event. NESCA held its first membership meeting of the fiscal year last night. Don Hillmann of Couch White, LLP gave a very informative and at times lively presentation on the new NYS Contractor/Subcontractor Registry and Certified Payroll Requirements going into effect. In addition, we had several members receive their new member plaques and milestone anniversary certificates. Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting. NESCA wouldn’t be the association it is without the support of our members!

NESCA’s president Bryan Berry owner of Color Code Painting had the opportunity to attend the 2024 WMBE forum at the Albany Capital Center today. He was able to meet Clarissa M. Rodriguez Esq., Chair & Commissioner of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board (middle) and Mary Parish, Principal Worker’s Compensation Examiner at the event.
