The Northeastern Subcontractors Association (NESCA) is an association of almost 500 subcontractors, specialty contractors and material suppliers serving the construction industry in Northeastern New York. NESCA is the only local association that represents subcontractors and suppliers above all other considerations. For over 50 years, NESCA has become a well-recognized force within New York State’s construction industry, and within the community as a whole. NESCA is affiliated with a statewide association, the Empire State Subcontractors Association, Inc. (ESSA). The purpose of the state association is to address statewide problems on a unified basis. NESCA is also affiliated with a national association, the National Subcontractors Alliance (NSA). NSA is an umbrella organization of construction industry trade associations from across the United States.

Last night NESCA hosted over 130 Young Professionals and AGC NYS (Associated General Contractors of New York State, LLC) CLC Members at Philly's Bar & Lounge in Latham for a lively evening of networking and trivia. Congratulations to the winners - first place Steel Team 7 (STS STEEL INC, Robert Schubert, PE, Jeffrey McCormick, Jenevieve Gaylor, Jeremy Krupa, Matthew L. Last night NESCA held it's first membership meeting of 2025. We had a lively crowd of over 150 people brave the cold to hear members of LeChase Construction tell us about their upcoming projects, bidding process, how to get on their bidders list and much more. We were also please to hold our annual joint meeting with NAWIC Capital District. The ladies auctioned off their Wheelbarrow of Cheer and raised $2500 for their scholarship fund. It was a great evening! Special thanks to David Hollander, Andrew McKay, Eric Coburn Sr, Mike Corey, Jared Aubin, Chris Hansen, Dan Poole and Bill Bury for representing LeChase at the meeting and Scott Lawler, LEED AP, DBIA for setting it up.

Don't forget to register for the NESCA Membership Meeting this week! Our meeting features a General Contractor Showcase with LeChase Construction. It is also our joint meeting with NAWIC Capital District. NAWIC will be raffling off their wheelbarrow of cheer at our meeting as well! We hope to see everyone there!

One week from today is NESCA's annual holiday party! We hope to see a lot of our members at this festive event. In the spirit of the holiday season, we will once again be asking members to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. It is a heartwarming experience to see the continued generosity of NESCA members who give so freely to this wonderful organization.
