The Northeast Ohio CyberConsortium (NEOCC) is a regional cross-sector Information Sharing and Analysis Organization. Organized in 2015 as a demonstration effort and incorporated in 2018, NEOCC delivers platforms and services that enable more effective information sharing and analysis among its members. With a focus on improving cybersecurity in Northeast Ohio, NEOCC strengthens the community of corporate and institutional cybersecurity professionals in the region.

Thank you to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)’s Cleveland Field Office for hosting our Quarterly Leadership Seminar yesterday. We had nearly 60 attendees, including both NEOCC members and guests. We heard a couple great presentations from field office staff, a panel on current SOC challenges (Daniel DeSantis, CISSP from GuidePoint Security, Jon Haas from Deepwatch, and Christian Harchelroad from Palo Alto Networks Unit 42), and a tour of a display of some the armaments used by FBI special agents over the years. Meeting was followed by a rooftop reception, sponsored by our colleagues at GuidePoint, Deepwatch and Unit 42. Looking forward to our next event with Fortress Security Risk Management and Binary Defense. Please join us!
