Thanks to everyone who voted in our Pumpkin Carving Contest ?? Each of our 7 sites was provided with the resources to partake in this contest. We had a great time seeing what each department was able to produce as a team and loved the comradery this contest encouraged (especially in the GroupMe chats!) This is just another representation of how awesome our team members are. Coming in 1st place was the North Branford Ambulance & EMS Co. 4 team with their gourd giving birth. What an awesome and detailed display! In 2nd place was Winsted Area Ambulance Association team with their speedy ambulance. Very innovative with the toothpick! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and at Northeast Fire & Rescue, we stand beside every fighter, survivor, and loved one affected by cancer. We remain committed to supporting those in the fight and honoring the strength and resilience of all who have faced this battle. Together, we can raise awareness, provide support, and continue the fight against cancer. ?? Between shirt sales at our Annual First Responder Appreciation Event & site-specific shirt sales company wide, we were able to raise a total of $600 to donate to Susan G. Meet our leadership team! At Northeast Fire-Rescue, the values that we've built our company around are vital to our leadership team. Ensuring that we provide the best experience for our team members and the Departments that we serve is a fundamental part of our mission each and every day. Our leadership team is unique in that have built out a chain of command that is similar to our public safety counter parts but often times not found throughout the EMS industry in the State. We use this system to make sure that the quality of our services are the best in the industry and that the volunteer Chiefs along with our NEFR teams always feel supported. The road we're on is full of fun and challenges. Together, our team is capable of helping bring comfort and certainty to towns and volunteers Departments throughout the state in knowing that no 911 call is ever missed.
