We had the pleasure of welcoming educators from Northampton Area School District and Lehigh County schools to Lehigh Valley Health Network to explore youth programming opportunities and careers in healthcare. NASD representatives heard from Kerri Green, EdD, MS about our Healthcare Academy and had the opportunity to tour Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital. Special thanks to Anne Baum, Kelly Crescenzo and Karen Clark for making the day memorable. Lehigh County school counselors participated in discussions about the Healthcare Academy, explored career opportunities with our talent acquisition team, and experienced an informative (and windy!) excursion to the helipad to learn about critical care transport. The day ended with a valuable panel discussion featuring EHP alumni. Thank you Kristen Fallon and Sean Will from Lehigh Career & Technical Institute for coordinating this opportunity for school counselors.
