AMINOHEAL was created to prevent and reduce concussions or traumatic brain injury in contact sports as well as enhance recovery in athletes or patients who have suffered a concussion or traumatic brain injury. Dr. Dickerman, D.O., Ph.D. is a spine fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with extensive training on both conservative (nonsurgical) and surgical options for treating patients with acute spinal conditions. He is the Director of Neurosurgery at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. Dr. Dickerman has treated numerous elite professional athletes with conservative (nonsurgical) modalities with high success rates and when surgery is required he is trained in minimally invasive spinal techniques which minimizes damage to surrounding tissues and speeds recovery for return to work or sport.
