Executive Producer Spotlight: North Shore's Principal, Rory Banyard! He started North Shore Productions over twenty-five years ago here in Portland, OR. Bringing decades of experience and a love for storytelling, his passion elevates every North Shore project.

Our Emmy award-winning film 'Where Ocean & Ice Meet' celebrates its 10th anniversary this year! The North Shore team filmed all across Kenai Fjord's ice-driven landscape to create this film.

We hit a new milestone by shooting on six continents in a single year. Here's a peek behind-the-scenes from one of our favorite shoots – filming the work of ecologists tracking big cats in Zambia. Our fantastic partners at ngx are producing some great interactives to go along with our films for this exciting project. Stay tuned!

Wind Cave is one of only a few 'breathing' caves in the world. Each year, scientists and explorers continue to map additional portions of the cave’s farthest reaches. Last year, we had the opportunity to film deep in the cave system! Our films explore the ongoing scientific research within the cave and the cultural significance of the site for Indigenous communities. These films are now on display as a part of the new exhibits at the Wind Cave National Park Visitor Center in South Dakota. Project Partners: Split Rock Studios - Exhibit Design / Build ngx

We had the opportunity last year to shoot all across Idaho, Washington, and Oregon to bring the significance of the land and the voices of the Nez Perce people together for the all-new exhibit at the Nez Perce National Historical Park visitor center. The new exhibit is informed by nimiipuu culture and focuses on seasonality and the wisdom of Elders. We felt honored to film their homeland throughout all times of the year. Amache: An American Injustice has officially premiered! We are beyond excited to share our passion project with everyone. A special thank you to the Amache community for sharing your stories and everyone involved who helped bring this project to life! It is currently airing nationally on PBS, or catch it anytime on the PBS app and PBS.org

'ntsayka ilíi ukuk - This is Our Place' is now open at the Columbia River Maritime Museum. This was such a fun project from start to end. We are so excited to be able to take part in sharing these stories. We hope everyone can make it out to Astoria to see the full exhibit!

As we celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day, we thank all of the indigenous communities who have entrusted us with helping to share their stories. It has been a privilege for which we are truly grateful.
