North Shore Distillery, LLC

Making whiskey is one of our passions, even though our whiskeys do not travel as far as our gins & vodkas. We love the entire process - mashing, fermenting, distilling, aging and blending. Our latest release is an American Single Malt Whisky, falling within the new TTB category. We're not sure why they dropped the "e" in whiskey for this one, but since they did, so did we. Cheers!

Over our 20 years in business, we've been fortunate to make some great friends and partners in the industry, some of whom we've been working with for many years. We're excited to continue celebrating our 20th anniversary year with a one-of-a-kind event at Weegee's Lounge in Chicago next week! Weegee's has stashed away bottles of many of our limited release spirits over the years, and is giving us the opportunity to enjoy them next week. If you happen to be a spirits lover in/around Chicago, you should join us - it'll be a night of great friends, great conversations and great drinks.

One of the things we're asked about most is our label designs. When we redesigned them a couple of years ago, we decided to be bolder, brighter, and to clearly convey that we are artists and artisans. So, each label is inspired by the style of art that matches that spirit's style. For example, our vodkas are inspired by pop art, which seemed fitting since vodka is still the most popular spirit in the US by volume. #artinabottle #northshoredistillery #drinkbetter

Twenty years ago this week, we officially formed North Shore Distillery, LLC, leased a manufacturing space and finalized the order for our still. We were full of optimism, yet had so very much to learn. It took twelve months before we were able to sell our first bottle of spirits, so we've decided to celebrate this milestone for twelve months. Our first event is this Saturday, with an epic bash at the distillery. Cheers to 20 years, and to 20 more!

Twenty years! In some respects, it seems like no time - in others, it seems like forever. We're so delighted to be here, and be preparing to celebrate this momentous occasion!
