North Louisiana Manufacturing Month begins TODAY! Each year, NLEP programs this event in partnership with the Manufacturers Managers Council of Northwest Louisiana to expose high school students and their teachers to modern manufacturing and the great careers available in the industry. This year, 24 NWLA manufacturers and 6 manufacturing-oriented training programs are offering tours to students from 10 school districts, bringing our total impact back to pre-COVID levels! Each participating student receives the event magazine, which profiles young people working in critical jobs for our regional manufacturers and points to relevant skill-building training to pursue after graduation.
