Truly heroic efforts! Over the last couple weeks, we’ve had over 1,000 members of our team working their tails off to restore power to the Houston metro area. Nearly 1 million customers lost power as a result of the May 16th storm. 8 days later, power was restored. Transmission lines are still being rebuilt while another storm hit yesterday creating an outage with over 400,000 customer without power. By this morning, it was down to 28,000. We now have around 1,000 workers responding to storms in the Dallas area where nearly 400,000 customers lost power. All of this work has been conducted safely while toiling 16 hours a day in 90-100 degree temps.
