Dr. Angelique Volkman is an emergency veterinarian from Southern California who moved to the North Dallas Area in 2017 and joined the NDVESH team in the summer of 2024. ?? Dr. Volkman enjoys the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of emergency medicine and the excitement of continual learning. Her favorite part of her profession is helping families and their beloved pets in their time of need and doing her best to get her patients feeling better and back home. ?? Welcome, Dr. Courtney Hawthorne to the NDVESH team! ?? ?? Dr. Hawthorne joined us in August and has been a wonderful addition to our ER team. Dr. Hawthorne is passionate about cardiovascular emergencies, surgery, and trauma medicine. She's particularly interested in helping her clients navigate the sometimes difficult and emotional decisions associated with emergency medicine to provide the best patient outcomes. ?? When Dr. Hawthorne isn’t treating her patients, she can be found exploring Texas' state parks ?? , relaxing with family, and spoiling her dog. ?? She loves traveling ?? and trying new experiences.
